Bagheera's Page

My name is Michelle A. and our first family dog is a Mastiff. We got a Mastiff because we wanted a BIG laid back dog. Well, we got one. Her name is Bagheera. She is 11 years old and weighs 160 lbs. She absolutely loves my husband, Ron, and our 16 year old son Kaleb.

I've been working in a 3 doctor Animal Hospital for the last 3 years and have been a licensed Veterinary Technician for the last 15 years. I also build web pages as a part time hobby. See my web design site. My husband has been a licensed Nurses Aide and restorative aide for 16+ years and works in a Rehab Center. We take the dogs to Ron's work quite often as it is a great place to socialize them. They love the attention.

We also have a rescue Dogue de Bordeaux named Elizabeth. She was rescued from the Bergmann Puppy Mill in Washington State. She had frostbite on her feet and chewed her feet down to the nerves. She is missing some toenails on her back feet and still has an open wound that is healing. She has a fear of men and is extremely headshy. She has obviously been abused and neglected. BUT, she is getting along just fine now. She almost seems to enjoy going to the Rehab Center lately. We love her and she loves us, especially Bagheera. They play almost constantly.
